This home was a complete and thorough remodel of an already “romantic” 20’s Cottage. Charm and traditional comfort were the goals here. It’s the perfect place for two with visiting family and friends. Tile finishes selected reflect the old tiled facades of vintage Palo Alto buildings . Light fixtures that reflect the period are included. Every space is lived in and used. The kitchen works extremely well for the two accomplished cooks that entertain and enjoy the craft. Later an outdoor kitchen was created. The husband researched and found a Vergola –an outdoor pergola with roof slats that move for sunshine or rain protection. Thanksgiving dinner has been served in this cool outdoor space. The working home office/family room functions well with a view of the garden.
